You can set a custom initial center for your globe. In the example below the center is set to show Portugal/Spain by default when the globe loads.
This is controlled in the Globe settings, in the Initial Altitude/Scale and Center Coordinates options.

The initial altitude/scale option works as the ‘camera that views the globe’ altitude. The bigger the value, the furthest it will be. A zero value means the camera is at the ground level.
In the settings page of the plugin you can enable the option ‘use OpenStreetMap’ so it’s easier to select the coordinates.
However, an easier way to setup the initial position of the globe is to move the globe in the preview to the position you want and then select the option on the right to ‘Set Initial Center’. This will save the position into the fields mentioned above.
