Using Interactive Globes with cache and optimization plugins

Interactive Globes should work well with cache and optimization plugins. However, if the globe is not displaying when the page is cached, it could be due to minification issues.

To confirm that the cache/minify plugins are affecting the globes, temporarily disable them, to confirm if this way the globes display. If you confirm there’s a conflict then you might need to adjust the settings of your optimisation plugin. Popular plugins like WP-Rocket and Litespeed Cache will provide options to exclude certain Javascript files from being excluded. These usually accept wildcards, with the following format:

/wp-content/plugins/interactive-globes/(.*).js
/wp-content/plugins/interactive-globes-premium/(.*).js

So in the exclude/exceptions options, add the lines above. In all options that the plugin offers, like Minify/Load Deferred/Delay Execution/Inline, etc.

If the plugin also supports exclusions with just a string, you can simply add:

interactive-globes

Another approach could be to use the option to exclude the page where you have the map from being cached. Usually the optimisation plugins also provide this option.

Specific settings for Litespeed Cache

Edit the Settings for Page Optimization > [ 8 ] Tuning > JS Excludes, and add:

interactive-globes/
interactive-globes-premium/

Save and do a Purge All action.
